I was wondering how to delete all tweets from X (formerly Twitter). I found a simple solution and would like to recommend it to you.
TwitWipe
To delete all tweets from your microblog on X (Twitter), you can use an English-language website (free of charge). Here is the actual tweet deletion website (TwitWipe).
By the way, during deletion it might seem like nothing is happening. In reality, the process just takes a long time — I waited 10–15 minutes before the number of deleted tweets was displayed. Visit your page to check if all tweets have been deleted.
TweetEraser
I also want to recommend another English-language service called TweetEraser, based on a suggestion from one of my readers. It works similarly to the next one on the list — Delete Twitlan — but lets you select and delete all tweets in one click.
And here’s another tweet deletion service, though it uses a slightly different system and is, in my opinion, less convenient:
Delete Twitlan
This service lets you load a specific number of tweets, select the ones you don’t want, and delete them in just a few clicks. I couldn’t find a button to delete all tweets at once.
The process is just as simple as in the first case:
- Go to Delete Multiple Tweets.
- Click the “Sign in with Twitter” button.
- You’ll be redirected to Twitter, where you’ll be asked, “Allow Delete Multiple Tweets to access your account?” — click “Authorize app.”
- Then you’ll be redirected back to the application.
- Select the tweets you want to delete and click “Delete the Tweets Permanently.” By default, it loaded 100 tweets for me — you can load more by clicking “Load more Tweets.”
- After deletion, a message will appear showing how many tweets were deleted.
- Click “Sign Out.”
Keep in mind that Twitter’s API does not give these apps access to your password. If you want to revoke an app’s access, simply go here: x.com/settings/applications
